Design goal
CREATE A GAME-CHANGING, future-vision ONLINE BANKING EXPERIENCE that will leap frog the competition.
PROBLEM TO SOLVE:
To make the online TD experience more approachable and welcoming for Canadians who tend to be more comfortable going to the traditional brick and mortar bank vs. a website. The vision was to meet its customers' goals and needs by creating an experience that mimics the good ol' neighborhood bank.
OUTCOMES
During the User Research and Design phase, as we were considering a futuristic view for the bank and possible features for the end vision, we came upon the 'LIGHTBULB MOMENT' of allowing users the option to 'speak and converse' with the website and interact with it. Given that voice activation was maturing fast, it could very well be a way of the 'end vision' for TD.
The redesign effort led to the creation of interface schematics, followed by 2 distinct Design Directions
After Usability Testing, successful aspects of both were combined into 1 Design Direction
Various key pages of the site (web and mobile) were designed to depict new and existing user experience
TD Bank - Home Page Types (END VISION)
TD HOME - Mobile Screens (END VISION)
TD BANK - Your Account Pages (END VISION)
TD BANK - Make Trades Pages (END VISION)

UX ARTiFACTS
INTERFACE SCHEMATICS
2 Design Directions that addressed the User's needs were shared via the Interface schematics (a hybrid between concepts and wireframes)
Both were received well by the client, upon testing with users, we pulled the more successful pieces into a single Design
Visual Designs were generated to depict how the current state of TD would transform over time into the End Vision state
