ART/CREATIVE DIRECTION (& VISUAL DESIGN)

CONNECTING, ENGAGING & ASSISTING HUMANS TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS FOR THEMSELVES.

Over a span of 22+ years of collaborating within agencies, consultancies, client-side giant behemoths, start-ups and my own social venture, the explorations and learnings have been huge. Through years of crafting compelling concepts and narratives in all channels—both online and offline, my innate love for helping brands evolve and connect to humans in meaningful ways—has not changed. Here are some featured projects across various clients and projects:

Philips

Project
The Philips White Space Ideastorm platform enables Lighting Professionals win new business by creating new and unique lighting ideas for their current and potential clients. A rich and engaging interface offered in 2 visual styles: organic + spatial; and structured + conventional, both allowing users to be ‘illuminated’ through inspirational browsing, sharing of ideas and trends, and starting of discussions including all social activities such as commenting, rating, tagging, voting, saving to favorites, porting to linkedin etc.

AT&T

Project
It was a revolutionary time for the mobile industry in the U.S. when regulators passed a rule such that users could sign up for wireless plans with their carriers, without having to sign a contract. AT&T Wireless (code word : Appollo Wireless) was launching it and introducing it for the first time. Here is the ‘Feel the love’ campaign, where there are no contracts, so you stay because you want to, not because you have to. A multi-channel campaign using popular song lyrics associated to relationships which would leave impressionable touches on viewers as they continue humming the tune after having read the headline hooks.

Virgin Money

Project
An easy alternate method by Virgin Money to create a financial solution for borrowers. While one of their services - social lending, sounds like an edgy thing, it’s actually a very natural human transaction and the website concept and value proposition helps Virgin Money, sell it, and manage it for them for a small fee, so it’s safe and straightforward.

AARP

Project
A re-branded integrated campaign to reflect the highly marketable 50+ U.S. demographic market and their unique dispositions.

Pie in the Sky

Project
A wonderful way to give ‘thanks’ each year. A project in the Boston area that feeds the hungry, helps the sick through the funds that come from selling delicious pies baked by top restaurants and chefs in the area. Everyone’s got to eat pie during Thanksgiving right? Why not do so through Pie in the Sky, and also help bring a wholesome meal to the critically ill. A pro-bono project, rewarding in so many ways.

MOS

Project
A minimalistic site that embodies the ethos of the simple and whimsical art for children created by Swedish Artist Madlene Olander. A super fun pro-bono project where we decided to use the actual art to tell the story of her brand.
