DESIGN GOAL
reimagine the PPRM (partner performance relationship management) module of the product - distribution management system, and turn it into a modern, vastly-enhanced and improved experience. and do this all while building on what is currently exists and uncovering new user research.
PROBLEM TO SOLVE:
Duck Creek Technologies (DCT) is a leading provider of comprehensive P&C insurance software and services for insurers of all sizes worldwide. DMS (Distributed Management System) was a product that was entirely built by developers many years ago, with just some parts that were touched by a UX consultant on occasion. As the product came under the fold of DCT, it was time to bring it up-to snuff with the rest of the DCT product portfolio and also hugely improve usability and the visual ethic of the system. Discovery and User Research also very clearly indicated that users wanted an experience with features that echoed current day’s needs, reminiscent of top SaaS products in the market.
